The crowd of people seems normal enough until you notice strange deformations—arms replaced with grasping tentacles, three eyes twisted across smooth foreheads, and gaping, chittering mouths.

Abolethic Hybrid. The abolant can breathe air and water and is immune to disease.
Abolant Deformation. The abolant carries either the babbling, three-eyed, or tentacled deformation. The abolant’s deformation determines its action options.
Actions
Multiattack. The tentacled abolant makes 1d4 slam attacks or one Grasping Limbs attack.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) bludgeoning damage.
Grasping limbs (Recharges 4–6). The abolant lashes at a single creature sized Large or smaller within 10 ft. with 1d4 tentacles. The creature must make a Dexterity saving throw at DC 12 + the number of tentacles or be grappled. If the creature fails its saving throw by more than 5 points, it is also restrained. These effects immediately end if the abolant is incapacitated. While grappling or restraining a creature, the abolant cannot make attacks but can use its action to move the creature up to half its movement.
