That creature takes 2d6 psychic damage from the horrific nature of the poem and must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or become charmed for 1 minute. While charmed, the creature is incapacitated and has a speed of 0.

The effect ends for an affected creature if it takes any damage or if someone else uses an action to shake the creature out of its stupor.
